Ryan Harris found his passion and what he believes is truly his purpose in life after being gifted a camera in 2014. The older he grew the more he appreciates time and just how precious it is. As a photographer he enjoys the chance of making time stand still. Throughout his journey as a photographer thus far he found his pocket in telling beautiful stories in the form of a photo.

We got the chance to interview Ryan Harris, founder of RH Imagery and we're excited to introduce him to you!

Covesa Kelly Events: What makes your company stand out?

Ryan Harris: Many clients always commend me on my professionalism, taking great photos is important but if the business acumen doesn’t match, its a nightmare. I pride myself on being a vendor couples don’t have to worry about and sticking to my word and knowing they can count on me.

CKE: What are some of your favorite venues to shoot at?

Ryan: I always appreciate the beauty in the architecture of Henn Mansion from the grand staircase to the vintage pane windows. Being right off of Lake Erie also makes for a beautiful portrait on the perfect day.

Another honorable mention is Thorncreek Winery, I had the pleasure of shooting a fall wedding here and it was beautiful. Rustic feel inside the winery and plenty of land outside for a beautiful ceremony and adequate grounds outside for wedding party portraits.

CKE: What type of shoot do you wish clients would do more of?

Ryan: I’m a big fan of first looks, I feel it truly gives the couple a chance to create an intimate moment and really soak in the special day with just the two of them. After that they are pulled in a million directions the entire day and they wont get that same type of intimacy uninterrupted for the wedding day. Any time I’m given the opportunity to capture a first look between the bride and groom its always beautiful.

CKE: How far in advance should someone book your services?

Ryan: In a perfect world I would advise clients to book at least a year in advance but I understand that doesn’t always happen. A photographer and or videographer should be booked after the venue is secured, you can find another place to make food or supply table linens but your wedding photographer should be something couples book early in the process. The photographer is responsible for capturing your families legacy which often starts well before the big day.
